As we are growing bigger, we are looking for an experienced Android Engineer with a passion for mobile applications to join Kredivo. The perfect candidate should provide creative solutions and have an attention to detail, with excellent opportunity for ownership and influence on product, business, and technical direction.

Responsibilities

Own the technical vision and roadmap for our mobile applications, aligning them with business goals.
Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for Android apps.
Champion adoption of standards and best practices within mobile engineering.
Advocate for and implement reusable components and libraries to optimise development efforts.
Lead the effort to analyse and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, implementing effective solutions.
Stay up-to-date on evolving security threats and implement robust security measures.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Android developer.
Relevant education (Bachelor's degree).
Proven expertise in Android development, with strong architectural skills.
Good understanding of mobile performance optimisation techniques.
Proficient with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Unit Testing Android SDK, Android Studio, and various other tools.
Solid knowledge of clean architecture, solid principles, and best practices in mobile development.
Should have an understanding of dependency injection and unit tests.
Continuous learning to stay updated with new frameworks and technologies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Passion for building user-centric, secure, and high-performing mobile applications.
It should be ok to learn and work on Kotlin multiplatform and Compose multiplatform for feature development.
Good to have KMP Experience.
