MacGregor Black is partnered with a globally recognised lifestyle brand to appoint a Senior Analyst, based in New York.
As the Senior Analyst, you will build, own, and elevate the digital analytics function - providing meaningful insights that drive ecommerce performance, customer acquisition, and commercial growth across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own digital performance analysis across ecommerce, marketplace, and digital retail channels.
- Develop reporting frameworks that turn data into actionable commercial insight for trading, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Analyse customer behaviour, onsite performance, conversion pathways, and funnel efficiency to identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Translate complex datasets into clear narratives that inform trading decisions, merchandising strategies, and digital investment priorities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, Merchandising, and Finance to support forecasting, planning, and KPI alignment.
- Implement and refine analytics tooling (e.g., GA4, Looker, data visualisation platforms) ensuring consistent, accurate measurement.
- Build dashboards and automated reporting that elevate visibility of channel performance across the organisation.
- Monitor trends, competitor insights, and industry benchmarks to provide strategic recommendations.
- Support the Director of Ecommerce in shaping digital strategy with robust, insight-led analysis.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in ecommerce, retail, CPG, or consumer/lifestyle brands (brand-side or agency).
- Strong analytical capability with deep experience across digital performance metrics, ecommerce KPIs, and customer behaviour analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in analytics tools (GA4, dashboards, BI tools, SQL a plus).
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate into commercial storytelling.
- Strong communicator, confident presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in fast-paced environments where priorities shift and speed is essential.
- A proactive mindset—comfortable building frameworks and processes in a maturing digital organisation.
