Senior Alteryx Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, and DBT to support data operations, quality management, and dashboard enhancements for Japan DTI initiatives. The role involves ensuring data accuracy, maintaining business-critical dashboards, and supporting DevOps processes aligned with GDnA delivery cycles. Key Responsibilities: Data Engineering: Design, build, and maintain Alteryx workflows , ETL pipelines, and data interfaces with local and third-party systems. Manage locally maintained data assets, including dashboards, reports, ETL processes, and local tables/views. Lead automation initiatives to streamline recurring tasks and operational workflows. Dashboard & Reporting Support: Support and enhance Japan DTI dashboards using Tableau. Ensure dashboard data accuracy, completeness, and timely availability. Monitor data pipelines between GDnA systems and business users. DevOps & Sprint Coordination: Collaborate with GDnA teams to intake Japan-specific requirements and incorporate them into sprint cycles. Track and validate sprint deliveries by providing domain expertise on Japan?s data and business processes. Data Quality & Governance: Maintain and monitor data quality, ensuring accuracy and completeness across Japan dashboard reports. Investigate customer-related DQ issues from Veeva sources and reporting layers, and coordinate fixes with GDnA teams. Partner with business teams to collect inputs for master products, product mapping, conversion factors, and market basket definitions. DBT Development: Develop and maintain DBT models to support scalable data transformations, lineage tracking, and governance. Ensure DBT pipelines adhere to best practices around modularity, documentation, and maintainability. Required skills & experience: 8+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a similar role. Strong expertise in: Alteryx (primary skill) SQL (advanced) Tableau (dashboard development & maintenance) DBT (data transformation & modeling) Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, root cause analysis, and data validation. Experience working with Veeva data is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical outcomes. Education: Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems , Data Engineering , or a related field.
