About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to build and enhance AI-powered Communication Surveillance solutions for a leading Banking & Capital Markets client.

In this role, you will develop enterprise-grade AI/ML applications that detect regulatory breaches, insider trading, market abuse, collusion, information leakage, and employee misconduct across emails, chats, collaboration platforms, and voice transcripts. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including NLP, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Databricks, and MLflow to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, train, fine-tune, and deploy AI/ML models for communication surveillance.
• Develop NLP and Generative AI solutions for structured and unstructured communication data.
• Build scalable ML pipelines using Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Manage the complete ML lifecycle using MLflow (tracking, deployment, monitoring, and versioning).
• Develop data preprocessing, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and inference pipelines.
• Collaborate with business, compliance, and engineering teams to deliver AI-driven surveillance solutions.
• Ensure models are accurate, explainable, secure, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Follow MLOps best practices for deployment, monitoring, governance, and continuous improvement.
• Document solution architecture, deployment processes, and technical designs.

Required Skills

• 7–12 years of overall IT experience.
• Strong experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
• Experience in model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Strong expertise in Databricks (Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Workflows, Model Serving).
• Experience with MLflow for experiment tracking, model registry, deployment, and monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking & Capital Markets.
• Knowledge of Communication Surveillance, Trade Surveillance, Financial Crime, or Compliance solutions.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance related to market abuse, insider trading, and communication monitoring.
• Experience working with email, chat, collaboration platform, or voice transcript data.
• Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of RAG, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, and Agentic AI.
• Experience with model monitoring, drift detection, and production support.
