About the Role

InSilicoMinds is seeking an experienced Senior AI Pharmacometrician to join our growing scientific and AI team.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong pharmacometric expertise with practical experience in artificial intelligence and enjoys working at the intersection of computational modeling, quantitative pharmacology, and AI-enabled scientific workflows.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance AI-enabled solutions that support pharmacometric modeling, model-informed drug development (MIDD), scientific decision-making, and regulatory science across a range of pharmaceutical R&D programs.

Key Responsibilities

Scientific & AI Solutions

• Apply AI technologies to enhance pharmacometric and quantitative modeling workflows.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to identify opportunities for workflow automation and decision support.
• Contribute to the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled scientific tools and platforms.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies relevant to pharmaceutical research and development.

PBPK & Population PK Modeling

Develop, qualify, and validate PBPK and Population PK models

• Support projects involving generics, complex generics, biosimilars, and innovative drug development.
• Perform model evaluation, simulations, sensitivity analyses, and interpretation of results.
• Contribute to regulatory modeling strategies and scientific documentation.

AI & Data Science

• Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and related technologies to support scientific workflows.
• Help integrate structured and unstructured scientific knowledge into AI-assisted applications.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, consistency, explainability, and regulatory suitability.
• Support development of knowledge management and decision-support capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with pharmacometricians, AI engineers, software developers, and product stakeholders.
• Translate scientific requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to scientific best practices, validation approaches, and continuous platform improvements.

Required Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• Strong experience in PBPK and/or Population PK modeling.

Experience using one or more of the following

• PK-Sim
• Simcyp
• GastroPlus
• NONMEM
• Monolix
• MATLAB SimBiology
• Understanding of Model-Informed Drug Development (MIDD).
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions is desirable.
• AI/ML Product Development Experience

• Experience developing or deploying AI applications in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments is highly desirable.
