We are seeking a Senior Accountant Associate to join our rapidly expanding team of seasoned finance professionals. This position shall report to the Finance Head (India) and play an important role in helping shape the accounting team as the company grows. This role presents an incredible learning opportunity and will include exposure to a variety of accounting processes and business process optimization (for the US parent company and our India subsidiary) in a global, fast-paced, and growing environment.

Location: Bangalore (Onsite 5 day workweek)

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Accounting

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / ASC 606).
• Review customer contracts and support revenue assessment including accruals, deferrals, and adjustments.
• Maintain revenue schedules and reconcile billed vs recognized revenue.
• Support monthly revenue close and audit requirements.
  
  

Accounts Payable

• Manage end-to-end AP process including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment runs.
• Ensure correct accounting, GST compliance, and timely settlements.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  
  

Group & Intercompany Accounting

• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions including AR/AP, cost allocations, and recharges.
• Support group reporting and eliminations during monthly close.
• Assist in consolidation schedules and coordination with group finance teams.
  
  

Month-End Close & Compliance

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely closure of open items.
• Assist with statutory audits, internal audits, and information requests.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  
  

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Total at-least 5 years experience (3 to 4 years of experience in accounting roles with exposure to revenue accounting)
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance. Professional accounting qualification (CA Inter / ACCA / CMA – pursuing or completed) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• Hands-on experience with AP and intercompany accounting.
• Working knowledge of GST and basic compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (Intacct & Zoho Books)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
