We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist who can manage day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close activities, and ensure financial records are maintained accurately. This role will work closely with internal teams to support billing, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.

This is a client-facing Role with US Time Zone


Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries and reviewing bookkeeping entries for accuracy
  • Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations
  • Review expenses above defined thresholds to determine appropriate capitalization and accounting treatment
  • Conduct GL account reviews to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Process sales contracts, amendments, reductions, and churn updates while maintaining accurate customer records
  • Prepare customer invoices, billing statements, and track Accounts Receivable aging
  • Coordinate with client service teams to follow up on overdue balances
  • Assist with annual audits and tax-related documentation by compiling required records
  • Support monthly sales commission tracking and ensure employee data related to commissions is accurate
  • Manage and route virtual mailbox items to relevant internal teams
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records or transactions
  • Respond to client and vendor queries and route requests to appropriate teams when required
  • Provide accounting support to cross-functional teams as needed
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance or operational projects

Requirement

  • 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and office/accounting management tools
  • Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive approach to managing tasks and improving processes
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
