Role Overview
We are seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance and support management in financial planning. The ideal candidate will independently manage accounts, lead month-end closing and produce accurate financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions: AP, AR, cash management, journal entries & bank reconciliation
- Prepare statutory financial statements, balance sheet, P&L, MIS and monthly closing reports
- Handle GST returns, TDS, PF/ESI, income tax filings and coordinate with auditors
- Manage vendor payments, payroll support, petty cash & expense tracking
- Oversee invoicing, credit control and follow-up on receivables
- Support budgeting, cost analysis, forecasting and provide financial insights to management
- Maintain accurate accounting records and implement internal financial controls
- Supervise and guide junior accounting personnel
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally accounting systems
- Practical experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax & statutory compliance
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills, time management and ability to work independently
- Good communication and coordination skills Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in accounting roles
- Experience in manufacturing or product-based companies is preferred
- CA-Inter or semi-qualified candidates will be an added advantage
- Financial Analysis and MIS report preparation
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹ 30,000 – ₹ 45,000 per month (based on experience)
- Benefits: PF / Bonus / Statutory benefits / Other perks (as applicable)
