Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger
• Assist with costing activities, including analysis and maintenance of cost data
• Manage fixed assets and related depreciation schedules
• Partner with internal teams to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors and customers to address billing and payment issues
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff
• Utilize ERP systems to support day-to-day accounting operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required
• Approximately 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
• Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information
