Direct Hire

• Supports the Director, Financial Shared Services and Vice President Accounting
• Responsible for compensation accounting including wage, statutory tax and benefit accruals and reconciliations
• Preparation of account reconciliations of the various general ledger accounts
• Responsible for, supports and coordinates various month-end close activities
• Assists with intercompany accounting transactions and reconciliations
• Assists with the preparation of the Consolidated Financial Statements and month-end reporting
• Serve as liaison between corporate accounting, the various accounting teams
• Will support the Financial Shared Services function to implement cross-functional and cross departmental process automation and improvements
• Serve as a point of contact for external auditors
• Assist with the maintenance of the Company’s Fixed Asset Accounting
• Assist with the remediation of gaps in internal control identified
• Assist with monitoring and the remediation of issues that arise with the company’s ERP system (JD Edwards)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting required
• Payroll and benefit accounting experience required
• Experience in a Financial Shared Services environment preferred, but not required
• Manufacturing environment experience
• An active CPA license and experience preparing financial statements for a publicly traded company preferred but not required
• Public Accounting Experience, a Plus
• At least ten years of experience in accounting roles
• Experience with ERP operating software, preferably JD Edwards or Oracle operating systems
• Flowcharting and process documentation experience, a Plus
