Job Description

The Opportunity

Assist in the preparation of external and internal financial reporting including all periodic Securities & Exchange Commission (“SEC”) filings. Work closely with different functions including Corporate Consolidations, Global Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury and internal and external auditors. Facilitate the information flow from all subsidiaries and the process of preparing SEC filings. Assist with improvements to financial reporting processes.

This role is responsible for supporting core corporate accounting activities, including lease accounting under ASC 842, stock‑based compensation accounting under ASC 718, monthly close processes, and coordination with global teams. The position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective cross‑functional collaboration.

Major Responsibilities

Lease Accounting & Fixed Assets

  • Enter new leases and update lease changes in the Lease Query Tool.
  • Prepare and record monthly journal entries and payment reconciliations in alignment with ASC 842.
  • Collaborate with global teams to support centralized lease accounting processes.

Stock‑Based Compensation

  • Prepare and analyze stock‑based compensation expenses in accordance with ASC 718.
  • Support quarterly disclosure requirements for 10Q/10K filings.

Month-End Close & Reporting

  • Support the monthly close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, analytical reviews, and documentation.
  • Prepare monthly results for reporting into the data mapping tool for consolidated financials.
  • Assist Financial Reporting and Consolidation teams with close activities and data needs.

Business Partnership & Collaboration

  • Build strong working relationships with finance leaders and cross‑functional teams.
  • Develop a solid understanding of financial processes, inter‑department data flows, reporting needs, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Communicate insights clearly and responsibly to the Controller’s Group.

Audit Support

  • Support quarterly internal and external audit processes with accurate, compliant documentation.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accessibility of financial data, and data integrity.

Ad‑hoc Support

  • Perform ad‑hoc financial and economic analyses as requested.
  • Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • CA Intermediate with 3–6 years of relevant experience, or
  • CA with 1–2 years of experience in Record to Report
  • Demonstrated experience with technical accounting topics such as Lease Accounting and Stock‑Based Compensation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; experience with SAP is mandatory.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and corporate accounting policies.
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, with experience applying relevant controls.
  • Ability to prepare, interpret, and analyze financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
