Security Officer

Role Description The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at client premises in Bengaluru through vigilant monitoring and adherence to security procedures. This is a full-time, on-site role that includes patrolling assigned areas, monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification, and ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors gain access. Daily tasks involve observing and reporting suspicious activity, responding to alarms and incidents, completing incident and shift reports, and supporting emergency response in coordination with supervisors and local authorities when required. The Security Officer will also ensure compliance with company policies, maintain professional conduct and appearance, and provide courteous assistance and guidance to visitors, staff, and clients.
Qualifications

• Proven ability to monitor premises, control access points, and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security.
• Skill in observing, identifying, and reporting potential risks, unusual behavior, or safety hazards in a timely and accurate manner.
• Capacity to follow security protocols, emergency procedures, and client-specific instructions with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients, visitors, colleagues, and law enforcement when needed.
• Physical fitness and stamina to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and respond quickly in urgent situations.
• Ability to complete clear written reports, maintain logs, and use basic security tools or monitoring equipment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by site operations.
• Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training or certification in security operations is an advantage.
• Minimum high school education or equivalent; additional training in safety, first aid, or fire prevention is beneficial.
• Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.
