Job Description

We are currently hiring a Security Engineer for a client in the UAE for a minimum of 1 year project (renewable). The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing new security projects, maintaining security tools, and supporting the organization's overall cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, firewall, and vulnerability management tools
Support implementation of cybersecurity solutions and projects
Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and prepare evaluation reports
Monitor tool performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply security updates
Support audits, incident response, and compliance initiatives
Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams on security operations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field
2–4 years of experience in a technical security role
Strong understanding of network security and incident handling
Experience with SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management tools
Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is an advantage
Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CC, or SSCP are preferred
