Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajarhat. This position is responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings for client websites. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, and managing link-building activities. The specialist will analyze web analytics data, prepare performance reports, and collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices. The role also involves staying current with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to continuously refine optimization approaches.
Qualifications
  • Ability to perform comprehensive Keyword Research and develop data-driven SEO strategies.
  • Experience conducting detailed SEO Audits and recommending clear, actionable improvements.
  • Proficiency in On-Page SEO, including metadata, URL structures, internal linking, and content optimization.
  • Skills in Link Building and off-page optimization to enhance domain authority and search visibility.
  • Hands-on experience with Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to monitor performance and generate insights.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and technical SEO concepts (site speed, mobile friendliness, crawlability, indexation).
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to interpret data into practical recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
