About the Role

Globeia is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to drive organic growth across our global websites. We're seeking someone who is analytical, data-driven, and hands-on with both technical and content SEO.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in keyword research, on-page and technical SEO, backlink strategies, competitor analysis, and performance tracking. You'll work closely with our content and development teams to improve rankings, increase organic traffic, and optimize the overall search experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and search intent analysis using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner.
• Develop SEO strategies to improve organic traffic and keyword rankings.
• Perform on-page SEO, including optimization of title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, URL slugs, image alt text, and internal linking.
• Conduct regular technical SEO audits and identify issues related to crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, canonical tags, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and structured data.
• Plan and execute backlink acquisition strategies through high-quality outreach and link-building initiatives.
• Monitor backlink profiles and identify toxic links when necessary.
• Perform competitor analysis to identify content gaps, keyword opportunities, and SEO improvements.
• Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-driven content briefs and optimize existing content.
• Track website performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
• Monitor keyword rankings and prepare regular SEO performance reports.
• Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and implement best SEO practices.
• Work closely with developers to ensure SEO recommendations are implemented correctly.
• Optimize websites for AI-driven search experiences, featured snippets, and evolving search trends.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of hands-on SEO experience.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Experience with keyword research, search intent analysis, and content optimization.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Ahrefs
• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
• Google Keyword Planner
• Screaming Frog (preferred)
• SEMrush (preferred)
• Strong understanding of:
• Indexing and crawling
• XML sitemaps
• robots.txt
• Canonical tags
• Redirects (301/302)
• Structured data/schema markup
• Core Web Vitals
• Page speed optimization
• Internal linking strategies
• Experience planning and executing backlink campaigns.
• Ability to analyze SEO data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with international SEO and multilingual websites.
• Understanding of LLM optimization, AI search trends, and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Strapi.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from an SEO perspective.
• Experience with Looker Studio or similar reporting tools.

• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (IST)
