  • REST Assured (primary)
  • Postman / Newman (supporting only)
  • Karate (good to have)
  • Experience testing API-first and microservices architectures
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Service contracts
  • Mocking and stubbing
  • JSON / XML validation
  • API schema validation
  • Integration testing patterns
  • Domain exposure to Retail Banking:
  • Accounts, payments, cards, onboarding, transactions
  • Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle
  • Strong debugging skills using Linux, logs, backend tracing
  • Strong understanding of API fundamentals:

Good to Have

  • Experience in test planning, reporting, and quality tracking
  • Familiarity with banking regulatory and compliance testing
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and reporting tools (Allure, Extent)
  • Basic experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)
  • Understanding of API security:
