Job Title: Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) ?Location: Pune (Local candidates only) ?Experience: 6 to 10 Years ?Notice Period: Maximum 40 Days ?Working Mode: Hybrid ? 5 Days (3 Days Work from Office, 2 Days WFH) ?Interview Rounds: 3 (Internal + Client) About the Role: We are looking for an experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) for our project in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java-based test automation, microservices testing, and hands-on experience with UI and performance testing tools. You will collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to design and implement scalable automation solutions across CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Java-based applications and SpringBoot microservices. Perform unit, functional, and integration testing to ensure high-quality releases. Implement and manage UI test automation using Cypress framework. Conduct performance testing using BlazeMeter or similar tools. Design clear and efficient test plans, test cases, and automation strategies. Apply best practices for BDD and TDD frameworks (Cucumber, Spock, Groovy). Collaborate with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, and Chef. Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Participate in reviews, provide feedback, and ensure test coverage and quality metrics are met. Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and problem-solving mindset in delivering automation solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: 6?10 years of total experience with at least 8+ years of relevant experience in SDET or automation testing. Strong programming skills in Java and SpringBoot. Hands-on experience with Cypress for UI automation. Experience in performance testing using BlazeMeter. Proficiency in BDD/TDD frameworks such as Cucumber, Spock, or Groovy. Good understanding of CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Chef). Exposure to cloud environments (preferably PCF or Azure). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern testing practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Good to Have: Experience with API testing and integration automation. Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
