About the Role

We're looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing Engineering team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products. You'll work closely with software engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate quality throughout the software development lifecycle and help deliver world-class fintech products.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about automation, quality engineering, and building highly reliable software in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for Android applications, APIs, and backend services.
  • Create automated tests for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Test Android applications across devices, OS versions, permissions, network conditions, and application lifecycle states.
  • Validate APIs, microservices, databases, asynchronous workflows, third-party integrations, and message queues.
  • Test critical financial scenarios including payments, retries, idempotency, refunds, reversals, and failure recovery.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve test coverage, execution time, and framework reliability.
  • Analyze logs, API responses, and database records to identify, document, and troubleshoot defects.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams on test strategy, acceptance criteria, code reviews, and release readiness.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an SDET, Automation Test Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Android automation tools such as Appium, Espresso, or UI Automator.
  • Strong experience in API and backend testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases, REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous processing.
  • Good understanding of retries, timeouts, idempotency, eventual consistency, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, along with Git and test frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, cards, payments, or financial services will be a strong advantage.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Kafka, SQS, or similar messaging systems.
  • Familiarity with performance testing, mobile device farms, AWS, and observability tools such as Kibana, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
