Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with hands-on experience in Cypress, TypeScript, and test automation frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high-quality delivery across web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks and reusable components for scalable testing.
• Perform functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing using automation.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Implement best practices in automation, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
  
  

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of professional experience in Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience using Cypress with TypeScript.
• Good understanding of automation frameworks (POM, Hybrid, Data-driven, or BDD).
• Knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman, Cypress API, or similar.
• Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Experience integrating tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

• Experience with testing cloud-based applications.
• Basic knowledge of performance testing concepts.
• Exposure to SCRUM / Agile methodologies.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
