Position: SDE I - Android Developer

 Role Overview : We are looking for a passionate SDE - Android Developer with 1+ years of professional experience to join our engineering team. You will work on enhancing our Android applications, maintaining existing Java-based modules, and contributing to new feature development using Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Java and Kotlin
• Work closely with product and backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs
• Maintain and refactor the existing Java codebase while building new features in
• Implement clean, scalable, and testable code following MVVM architecture
• Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Collaborate using Git-based version control workflows

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience in Android development
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin
• Solid understanding of the Android SDK and application lifecycle
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with modern architectural patterns, especially MVVM
• Expert in 3rd Party integrations like Firebase, Google Maps, Payment Gateways, etc.
• Working knowledge of Git and version control best practices

• Experience working on large or legacy Android codebases
• Understanding of performance optimization and debugging tools
• Prior experience in consumer-facing or travel-tech applications
