What will you do at Fynd?

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer II (SDE 2) with strong expertise in Node.js and React.js to join our growing engineering team. As an SDE 2, you will be responsible for building scalable, performant, and maintainable web applications and backend services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver high-quality features that enhance the customer and partner experience.

Some Specific Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js for frontend and Node.js for backend.
• Implement RESTful APIs / GraphQL services and integrate with internal/external systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold high engineering standards.
• Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with privacy/security guidelines.
• Participate in system design discussions, contributing to architecture and scaling strategies.
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development with Node.js and React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and familiarity with TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of frontend development workflows (state management, component-based architecture, React hooks).
• Experience building RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating third-party services.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architecture is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
