Clodexa is a fast-moving startup building intent and sales-intelligence tools that help sales and marketing teams find and act on buyer intent. We ship quickly, learn from users, and expect engineers to own features end-to-end from user interface to backend services and integrations.

Role summary

As a Full Stack Engineer you'll build and own product features used by customers every day. You'll split your time between the frontend and backend: creating clean, usable UIs and building reliable APIs, background jobs, and integrations. This is a hands-on role where decisions you make early will shape how the product scales.

What you'll do

• Deliver end-to-end features: implement UI, connect to backend APIs, and deploy working code.
• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs that are reliable, testable, and well documented.
• Implement and maintain authentication, session management, and payment-gateway integrations.
• Build chat and calendar experiences that handle streaming/real-time updates smoothly.
• Create reusable frontend components and shared backend services to keep the codebase simple and fast.
• Troubleshoot production issues, add observability, and write pragmatic tests and docs.
• Collaborate closely with team; ship small, iterative improvements quickly.

Must-have skills

• 1–3 years building web applications (internships, projects, or jobs).
• Strong React + TypeScript experience; comfortable building componentized UIs.
• Solid Python development experience and hands-on with APIs (FastAPI or equivalent).
• Experience implementing authentication flows (JWT / OAuth2, token refresh, guards).
• Experience integrating payment gateways (Stripe-style flows).
• Good working knowledge of client routing and state management — TanStack Router and React Query / TanStack Query (or equivalent).
• Practical experience with databases (MongoDB or similar) and caching/queues (Redis or similar).
• Comfortable building/consuming streaming or real-time APIs for chat and UI updates.
• Strong understanding of modern UI/UX: responsive layouts, accessibility basics, performance, and pragmatic animations.
• Ability to write maintainable code, tests, and clear documentation.

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with workflow/orchestration tools (Temporal) or agent frameworks (PocketFlow).
• Experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Google Gemini/Vertex, Anthropic) and vector stores (Pinecone).
• Exposure to feature flagging and production ready features.
• Experience building chat interfaces, calendar integration, dashboard and dynamic tabular UI.
• Containerization and AWS infra experience: Docker, ECS, CI/CD (CodePipeline), Code Deploy, Code Build.
• Any prior work on payments, email/CRM integrations (Salesforce, Gmail), or Slack.

We use modern, practical tools to move fast while keeping quality high. Frontend focuses on typed React, component libraries, good routing and server-state management. Backend emphasizes async Python APIs, reliable background jobs, and solid integrations to external systems and AI providers. You won't need to know every tool on day one — we value the ability to learn and ship.

What success looks like in 6 months

• You've shipped multiple end-to-end features that are in front of users.
• Your code is tested, documented, and reused across the app.
• You've improved a core piece of UX or performance and can explain the tradeoffs.
• You're confidently handling auth, a third-party integration, or a background workflow with minimal supervision.
