About the role

We are seeking a Frontend SDE-I with 2-3 years of solid experience in developing scalable, performant web applications using JavaScript and React. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in building Single Page Applications (SPAs), implementing micro-frontend architectures, and optimizing frontend performance. You should be passionate about code quality, enjoy conducting code reviews, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

As a frontend web developer, you’ll work closely with our Design, Product, Backend, and Analytics team. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you.

What You will do

• Build and maintain high-performance, modular, and scalable frontend applications.
• Develop responsive user interfaces based on UI/UX designs with pixel-perfect precision.
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement and maintain SPA, SSR, and micro-frontend architectures.
• Work on web platform projects and initiatives in the central web team.
• Lead and participate in code reviews.
• Set up and configure frontend build tools like Vite and Webpack.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ship features.

What You will need

• At least 1 year of experience in frontend-web development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React.js.
• Experience with TypeScript and Next.js is a plus.
• Deep understanding of Single Page Application (SPA) architecture, micro-frontends, and component-based design.
• Comfortable working with and refactoring code of high complexity.
• Skilled in front-end optimization, lazy loading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation is a plus.
• Familiarity with bundlers and build tools like Vite and Webpack.
• Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or similar).
• Exposure to REST APIs and third-party service integrations.
• Experience with design systems or component libraries like Material UI or Ant Design.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and clean code practices.
• Understanding basic cloud computing concepts and experience in using any of the major cloud service providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to build and deploy the application in a containerized environment.
• B.E/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.S. from a reputed university with a good academic record.
• Curiosity to explore AI technologies and bake them into the products.
• Zeal and drive to take end-to-end ownership.
