As an SDE-1 (Backend) at Licious, you will:

● Write clean, readable, maintainable, and bug-free code under guidance

● Work on backend features and modules while learning scalable system design

● Assist in Low Level Design (LLD) and gain exposure to High Level Design (HLD)

● Solve problems using appropriate data structures and algorithms

● Debug, test, and improve existing services and APIs

● Collaborate closely with senior engineers to understand best practices

● Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks

We hope that you…

● Have 1–2 years of experience in backend development

● Have a good foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms and problem solving

● Are comfortable working with Java and backend frameworks like Spring Boot / JPA

● Understand OOP concepts and basic backend design principles

● Have working knowledge of SQL and exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus

● Are familiar with REST APIs and backend service development

● Have basic understanding of unit testing and debugging

● Exposure to AWS / cloud concepts is a bonus but not mandatory

● Hold a BE / BTech or equivalent degree
