Job Description

Work location: Trivandrum (Work from office)

Exp: 8-12 years

Shift: 1 PM to 10 PM (IST)


Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in IT and software development to guide and support high-performing Agile teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agile methodologies, exceptional facilitation skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of complex software products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach the team in Agile best practices to enhance velocity, predictability, and delivery quality.
  • Remove impediments proactively to ensure smooth sprint execution.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized Product Backlog.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, UX, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Agile maturity improvements across teams.
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, lead time, and team health indicators.
  • Promote adoption of modern Agile practices such as CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and engineering excellence.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; track mitigation plans effectively.
  • Ensure teams adhere to organizational processes, compliance, and governance models.
  • Mentor team members on Agile principles, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Guide new or transitioning teams through Agile transformation.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience in IT/software development, with 5+ years as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and Scaled Agile practices (SAFe preferred).
  • Experience working with distributed/global teams.
  • Hands-on understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Expertise in Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Rally, Confluence, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams or large-scale programs (preferred).


Nice-to-Have

  • Certification(s): CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments.
  • Background in DevOps and automation pipelines.
  • Experience in product-based or fast-paced Agile environments.
