Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Altair, Texas, for the role of Science Teacher at Rice Consolidated ISD. The Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective science instruction, planning and developing lesson plans, assessing student performance, and fostering a positive learning environment. The teacher will collaborate with staff and support the academic development of students, with a focus on science and related disciplines. The position also involves preparing students for standardized tests and meeting district and state educational standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and expertise in Science Education, including understanding core concepts in Physics and related fields.
• Proficiency in Mathematics, with the ability to integrate mathematical principles into science instruction where applicable.
• Experience as a Qualified Teacher with demonstrated competency in planning and delivering effective and engaging lessons.
• Ability to create and implement detailed and standards-aligned Lesson Plans tailored to diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Familiarity with educational technology and tools that enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Texas teaching certification in the relevant subject area is required.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory for motivated individuals committed to student success.
