Required Skills & Qualifications Backend Development : Expert-level proficiency in Scala with strong hands-on experience building scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems. Deep knowledge of SQL and practical experience in Spring Boot or Python for developing performant APIs and data services. Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures with a focus on clean, maintainable, and testable code. Cloud & Infrastructure Strong exposure to Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing distributed applications. Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native automation tools (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Solid understanding of infrastructure as code, container orchestration, and DevOps best practices. Data Engineering Proficiency in Snowflake and PostgreSQL, including schema design, optimization, and data performance tuning. Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modelling, and real-time data integration. Ability to optimize query performance and manage large-scale data workloads efficiently. Good To Have Skills Experience troubleshooting complex production issues across distributed data and backend systems. Strong analytical mindset for identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, latency, and integration challenges.
