Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a SAP VMS SD Consultant located in Chennai . The role involves analyzing business processes, consulting with clients to identify solutions, managing sales-related processes within SAP, and executing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) setup and integrations. The consultant will work closely with teams to streamline operations and optimize the implementation of SAP Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules.

Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) and Sales and Distribution solutions for our business, ensuring alignment with their objectives and requirements.

Collaborate with business to understand their business process and provide expert guidance on leveraging SAP VMS/SD functionalities to optimize operations and achieve desired outcomes.

Conduct workshops, gather requirements and develop solution designs that meet business needs while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Configure SAP VMS/SD module, including Vehicle Sales and Distribution, Service and Maintenance, Warranty Management and integration with other SAP modules.

Provide support and guidance to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle, including testing, training and post go-live support.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP VMS/SD implementation, ensuring minimal disruption to business operation.

Collaborate with cross functional teams, including SAP ABAP developers to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data, identify problems, and derive effective solutions
• Experience in Consulting and providing tailored solutions to meet client requirements
• Proficiency in Business Process analysis and optimization
• Understanding and hands-on experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
• Expertise in the Sales domain and experience with SAP SD and VMS modules
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Prior experience in SAP implementation or related projects is advantageous
