Job Description

Work Soft Test Automation Engineer is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test artifacts. The Test Automation Engineer will utilize a variety of tools and scripting languages to create high quality, reusable automated test scripts that can be utilized in multiple environments. This person should possess a strong foundational understanding of testing principles, processes and methods as defined in the methodology framework. Engineer is also responsible for ensuring that the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology are applied as specified in testing approach and that all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. Required Skills: Graduate with Good analytical skill. Work soft Testing experience Required – 05 -07 Years Working within the Testing phases of the SDLC - Required Test case management and execution Work soft Certify integration with Execution Manger, BPP Documentation in testing scenarios / creating and managing defects Experience of SAP Functional testing Quick learner and Effective communication Ability to lead automation meetings, identify next steps and take actions. Roles and Responsibilities: Review and analyze the Certify automation framework used for existing automation for best practices and re-usability Review and analyze SAP test automation scripts already developed for completeness, coverage (against their corresponding manual scripts) and automation process followed. Work with the team to identify and develop test cases for functional/regression test automation in the areas of frequently performed tests, time consuming tests or critical business process scenarios Work with the team to develop Work soft Certify scripts that can be used for activities like data creation / data updates in SAP. Work with the project teams to build automation scripts for the project based on priorities and requests identified and approved by the Project Team. Work with project teams to validate automation test requirements and build / update the required automation test scripts in Work soft Certify. Knowledge of Industry best practices and experience in applying these practices to build and test automation scripts Knowledge of SAP Functions - Finance, Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain

Adhere to testing process defined in Test Playbook and provide inputs to enhance, if gaps are found Ability to quickly understand company’s customizations Provide weekly status report to manager summarizing accomplishments, planned activities, metrics and known issues/risks/concerns
