SAP Technical Architect

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Leader to join our team, with AI passion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing SAP solutions to meet the business needs, focusing on the technical and architectural aspects of the system. Responsibilities includes Governing our development team ( ABAP, Web) and our BTP Platform integrations. You will be responsible for our developments in the SAP landscape and the integration platform, Ensuring governance for various SAP systems, and ensuring smooth deployment and operation of the applications in the production environment.

Key Job Areas Of Responsibilities

• Integrating SAP systems with other applications, optimizing performance, and providing technical guidance. The role requires strong technical skills, often involving areas like SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integration, and a deep understanding of how different SAP modules work together.
• Understanding of key technical areas like system administration, security, and performance tuning.
• Producing documents and diagrams for the SAP COE team, inform stakeholders on potential threats and making technology recommendations.
  
  

Monitor Progress

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application deployment and operation.
  
  

Continuous Process Improvement Projects

• Maintain landscape integrity. Control number of changes, Ensure Development are contained to the necessary portion and Control change management.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in SAP ABAP & BTP development, including following the SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.
• Implement application security using SAP BTP services like SAP Cloud Identity, Single Sign-On, and OAuth 2.0.
• Demonstrate a passion for AI and Innovation, stay current on relevant SAP industry trends and best practices.
  
  

Education/ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification is a plus.
  
  

Experience Required

• 7+ years as a ABAP Developer/ UI5 developer, Technical lead, BTP Architect, Business Application Studio
• Experience with other programming languages, such as ABAP, Python, or Node.js
• Experience in Agile Project delivery, SAP WorkZone, SAP Build
• ITIL knowledge is a plus, AI Joule for Consultants/Developers
  
  

Key Skills And Knowledge

• Knowledge of integration technologies such as OData, REST, and SOAP, API Management
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP services like SAP Cloud Identity, Single Sign-On, and OAuth 2.0.
