Location: Bangalore- onsite is preferred, but open to remote.

Work Hours - India 9 am to 5 pm (With some US time overlap and flexibility expected for critical situations)

Duration - 12 months (Possibility of extension)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) S/4 HANA Functional Consultant with strong expertise in large-scale S/4 HANA implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have deep functional knowledge in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, IDOC/EDI integrations, troubleshooting, enhancement design, and production support.

The consultant will play a critical role in handling customer-facing sales and distribution processes, resolving complex issues, supporting integrations, and driving functional enhancements in a high-volume enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage SAP SD functional activities across large-scale S/4 HANA implementation and support projects.
• Handle end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes with strong expertise in SAP SD customizations and configurations.
• Review, analyze, and troubleshoot custom SAP SD solutions and integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis for critical production issues and provide long-term resolutions.
• Support Severity Level 1–3 incidents and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design enhancements/customizations.
• Participate in enhancement design, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Ensure emphasis on scalable and reusable solution design.
• Handle and troubleshoot high-volume IDOC processing environments involving several hundred/thousands of IDOCs daily.
• Support outbound and inbound IDOC processes related to:
• Sales Orders
• Order Acknowledgements
• Packing Slips
• Customer communication processes
• Analyze and troubleshoot EDI integrations related to Sales, Distribution, and Pricing processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams and possess the ability to understand and read ABAP code for debugging and issue analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and business continuity.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of SAP SD functional consulting experience.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in:
• SAP SD
• Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• Pricing
• Sales & Distribution processes
• IDOC processing
• EDI integrations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in enhancement design, testing, and support.
• Ability to review custom code and identify issue areas.
• Understanding of inbound and outbound IDOC flows.
• Ability to read and understand ABAP code.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in high-volume enterprise environments.
• Prior experience handling customer-facing sales integration processes.
• Exposure to support and implementation projects in global organizations.
• Ability to independently own functional tracks/projects.

Good to Have:

• Experience working in distributed/global teams.
