SAP SD Functional Lead,398 Requirement: Immediate joiners only Work Model: Hybrid Position Overview The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. The role involves participation in the complete software development lifecycle?covering architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and optimization. This role also requires strong cross-functional collaboration and expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies (Full-stack capability is preferred). Key Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand use-cases, challenges, and requirements; deliver user-centric solutions. Design, develop, and implement complex software solutions using modern frameworks, tools, and methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD). Analyze business and technical requirements to determine optimal technology stack, integration methods, and deployment strategies. Create high-level architecture designs defining system structure, components, and interfaces. Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects, and cross-functional teams. Define and implement test strategies, guidelines, processes, and quality standards. Continuously optimize performance, improve application efficiency, and integrate emerging technologies. Apply best programming practices such as test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Ensure security best practices including data encryption, anonymization, and secure coding standards. Build user-friendly, intuitive, and interactive UI components. Develop and maintain backend services such as APIs and microservices. Evaluate, adopt, and contribute to new technology stacks and industry-driven innovations. Must-Have Skills SAP SD Functional expertise Hands-on experience in S/4HANA Strong experience as a Senior Engineer: Proficiency in 2 programming languages OR advanced expertise in 1 language 8+ years in software development 10+ years overall IT experience Experience building and maintaining APIs, microservices, and full-stack components Strong understanding of software architecture, testing strategies, and secure coding Familiarity with TDD, CI/CD, DevOps practices Nice-to-Have Skills SAP HANA Experience in UI engineering and front-end frameworks Exposure to cloud deployments or containerization Knowledge of emerging technologies relevant to enterprise software Education Required: Bachelor?s Degree Preferred: Not specified Skills: microserviices,sap sd,s/4 hana,api
