SAP S/4HANA Full-Stack Engineer (FICO & ABAP) | 6+ years

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Full-Stack Engineer with strong expertise in FICO and ABAP development . This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications across the full software development lifecycle. You will combine front-end, back-end, and SAP S/4HANA skills to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that align with business needs. Key Responsibilities Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, business processes, and system challenges. Design and deliver end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions with ABAP development. Build and maintain user interfaces, APIs, and microservices . Define high-level architecture and ensure scalability, performance, and security. Apply Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and TDD best practices . Implement data security measures , including encryption and anonymization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, designers, product owners). Create and maintain functional and technical documentation (RICEFW objects) . Support integration with external tax systems (e.g., Vertex O Series) . Stay up to date with emerging SAP and full-stack technologies. Required Skills & Experience SAP S/4HANA expertise with strong FICO background . Proven experience in ABAP development . 6+ years IT experience , with at least 4+ years in software development . Strong full-stack engineering skills (front-end + back-end). Proficiency in at least two programming languages (or advanced in one). Knowledge of Agile, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines . Hands-on experience with software testing, QA, and performance optimization . Familiarity with tools such as ALM, JIRA, Rally . Preferred Qualifications Understanding of Sales & Use Tax (SUT) and VAT processes in NA, EU, and APAC. Experience integrating Vertex O Series On-Demand Tax solutions . Exposure to the automotive industry or client-facing consulting. Familiarity with Vertex Test Suite . SAP or related certifications . Project management and business analysis experience. Education Required: Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Preferred: Certification in SAP or relevant software development technologies.
