SAP PP/QM Support Consultant - S/4 HANA Environment

Job Description

Description Experienced SAP PP/QM HANA Support Consultant with strong expertise in Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and S/4 HANA functionalities. The consultant will be responsible for providing end-to-end support, troubleshooting, enhancements, root-cause analysis, and coordination with business users to ensure seamless production and quality operations in an S/4 HANA environment. Maintain and troubleshoot issues related to Material Master, BOM, Work Centers, Routing, Production Versions, and Resources in S/4 HANA. Support HANA-specific features like advanced master data views and classification. Provide end-to-end support for production order and process order cycles including release, printing, confirmations, goods movements, cost postings, and TECO. Troubleshoot issues related to BOM explosions, routing mismatches, capacity scheduling conflicts, and backflush errors. Support end-to-end Production Order and Process Order cycles: creation, release, scheduling, confirmations, GI/GR posting, TECO, and settlement. Resolve issues related to routing assignment, BOM explosion errors, capacity planning conflicts, and backflush inconsistencies. Work on shop floor execution processes such as production reporting, WIP handling, and labor/activity posting. Troubleshoot stock discrepancies, batch determination issues, batch derivations, and storage location-specific posting errors. Support movement types, production backflush issues, material staging, and staging automation. Handle complete inspection lot lifecycle for incoming, in-process, and final inspections. Troubleshoot MIC assignments, sampling procedures, result recording, UD posting issues, and incorrect lot triggers. Support MRP (Material Requirements Planning) runs, analyze exceptions, and assist in planning strategies, lot-sizing, and demand management. Configure and support Shop Floor Control, capacity planning, and scheduling activities. Resolve issues related to Material Staging, Backflushing, Goods Movements, and stock discrepancies. Provide support for Planned Orders, availability checks, and ATP-related issues. Monitor and resolve errors in IDocs, interfaces, and integrations with MES/third-party systems. Support PP-PI (Process Industries) if required process orders, PI sheets, control recipes, and relevant configurations. Resolve issues related to UD (Usage Decision), results recording, and inspection lot release. Support QM integration with PP, MM, and WM for quality checks during procurement, production, and delivery. Setup and troubleshoot Dynamic Modification Rules (DMR), skip lots, and sampling logic. Manage Stability Studies, calibration processes, and quality audit support if applicable. Monitor and resolve QM-related IDocs, workflow triggers, and notifications. Provide L1/L2/L3 support for all PP/QM processes. Assist in month-end activities like confirmations, order settlements, WIP analysis, and inventory reconciliation. Coordinate with business stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution implementation. Conduct end-user training, documentation, SOP creation, and workshops. Perform ticket management via ServiceNow/JIRA/SolMan and ensure SLA compliance. (ref:hirist.tech)
