SAP PM Master Data Engineer

1. Role Overview

• Support as the MD Engineer for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) master data within an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) framework.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of master data—equipment, functional locations, maintenance plans, BOMs, task lists—aligned with EAM practices.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Master Data Governance: Create, maintain, and retire SAP PM master data following standards and governance frameworks
• EAM‑Centric Modeling: Structure and maintain equipment, functional locations, BOMs, maintenance plans, technical objects in line with EAM best practices
• Process Improvement: Support in Identifying gaps, propose enhancements, draft SOPs and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Master data development: Develop PM master data as per the standards by extracting the information from engineering documents and legacy data
• Planning & Tactics : Develop standard maintenance procedures from various maintenance documents. Create maintenance plans and schedule in SAP PM

3. Required Experience

• Education: Graduate in Science (Mechanical/Electrical/Mining/Instrumentation/Production)
• SAP Expertise: 1+ years working with SAP PM, functional locations, equipment structures, maintenance plans, BOMs.
• EAM Knowledge: Familiar with EAM best practices—asset hierarchy, lifecycle, preventive maintenance.
• Data Analysis Tools: Skilled in Excel (advanced)
• Soft Skills: Detail‑oriented, analytical, able to multi‑task, and drive continuous improvement in a cross‑functional setting.
