SAP Functional Analyst – SD/MM (Finance & Reporting)

Job Title (ATS-optimized): SAP Functional Analyst – SD/MM (Finance Background Preferred)

Role Overview

We are looking for an SAP Functional Analyst with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD or MM modules to support business operations through functional support, issue resolution, configuration, and data/reporting analysis. Candidates with a finance background are preferred, as the role involves reporting to the Finance Head.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 functional support for SAP SD/MM modules, resolving day-to-day user issues and queries
• Perform basic configuration and customization: pricing, output determination, master data settings, procurement/sales flows
• Analyze and troubleshoot business process issues and system errors for timely resolution
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver functional solutions
• Execute and support testing activities: unit testing, UAT support, defect tracking
• Extract and analyze SAP data to support operational decisions and issue resolution
• Prepare functional documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
• Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP/Basis) for enhancements, fixes, and transports
• Ensure adherence to change management and governance processes
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD or SAP MM modules
• Experience in incident management and user support environments
• Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes: SAP SD (Order-to-Cash) or SAP MM (Procure-to-Pay)
• Ability to independently perform basic SAP configuration
• Hands-on experience with SAP reporting and data analysis
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data validation and reporting
• Finance domain exposure preferred
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to integration touchpoints: FI, WM, or other SAP modules
• Basic knowledge of SAP tables and data structures
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA
• Experience working with global support teams / AMS environments
• Basic SQL query knowledge is an added advantage
