Job Title: SAP Finance SME (Subject Matter Expert)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance SME to provide functional expertise across SAP Finance solutions, with a strong focus on S/4HANA Finance. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and project delivery teams to support transformation initiatives, optimize financial processes, and ensure best-practice SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary functional expert for SAP Finance processes and solutions.
• Lead workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Support SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, upgrades, and transformation programmes.
• Configure and support key finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
• Provide guidance on financial reporting, period-end close, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, testing, and data migration activities.
• Support user training, change management, and post-go-live activities.
  
  

Required Experience

• 5+ years of SAP Finance consulting or SME experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience in finance transformation, process improvement, and system implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with senior finance stakeholders.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
• Experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Experience working in global or complex enterprise environments.
• 5+ years of SAP Finance consulting or SME experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• 5+ years of SAP Finance consulting or SME experience.
