Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong S/4HANA Finance knowledge to provide functional support for Finance and Controlling processes. The ideal candidate will manage incidents, troubleshoot financial issues, implement minor enhancements, and collaborate with business users to ensure seamless system operations.

Key Responsibilities

Support & Incident Management

• Provide L1, L2, and L3 support for SAP FICO and S/4HANA Finance modules.
• Analyze and resolve production issues related to:
• GL, AP, AR, AA
• Bank Accounting
• Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing & COPA
• Handle incident, service request, and change request management via ITSM tools (e.g., Solution Manager, ServiceNow, Jira).

S/4HANA Finance Support

• Support S/4HANA Finance functionalities including:
• Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
• New Asset Accounting
• New Credit Management
• Material Ledger
• Actual Costing
• Fiori-enabled financial processes
• Troubleshoot and enhance Fiori apps related to Finance.

Change Requests / Enhancements

• Gather requirement details for minor enhancements.
• Create functional specifications for RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Perform configuration changes in FI/CO and coordinate with ABAP and BASIS teams for fixes.

Business Support

• Support business during Month-End and Year-End closing activities.
• Liaise with Finance and Controlling teams to resolve process issues.
• Provide user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Testing & Deployment

• Prepare and execute Unit Testing & Integration Testing.
• Support UAT and production deployment activities.
• Validate financial data post-deployment and ensure system stability.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on skills in SAP FICO configuration (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO).
• Solid knowledge of S/4HANA Finance concepts (Universal Journal, ML, Profitability Analysis).
• Understanding of integrations with MM, SD, PP, and PM.
• Good knowledge of tax configurations, payment processes, DME, bank integration, etc.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and user-interaction skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in onsite/offshore models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or related fields.
• CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) preferred.
• SAP FICO/S/4HANA Finance certification is an added advantage.
