About The Company

Join the DIGITAL Supply Chain Competence Center as an experienced SAP Consultant specializing in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). This role offers international exposure and significant growth opportunities, primarily based in Chennai with potential travel (approximately 20% of the time) for EWM project support and service transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the EWM support team to ensure stable day-to-day operations.
• Provide IT support for EWM services (2nd line of Support), addressing incidents, service requests, and requests for change (RFC) globally within agreed SLAs.
• Deliver end-to-end support execution, including customizing, unit tests, user acceptance tests (UAT), production, and aftercare.
• Work on global RFCs as part of the EWM governance, including cost/benefit estimation and group solution design.
• Optimize group solutions based on business requirements.
• Monitor and report on EWM service KPIs.
• Collaborate closely with the EWM core team, cross DIGITAL teams, and internal customers to ensure alignment.
• Prepare and maintain relevant functional and technical specifications documentation.
• Document and maintain operational processes and procedures.
• Manage EWM yearly service windows maintenance and the EWM Super User community.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain focused on support of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Experience as a team coordinator for support consultants (in/offshore).
• Functional expertise in supply chain processes.
• SAP configuration of EWM and cross modules integration (ECC LES / PP / MM) for end-to-end business processes.
• Integration with other integrated services (FIORI / WCS, terminals, printers, RFID).
• Cross-functional SAP ERP Analyst experience, including Transport Management (LES), Production Planning (PP), and Material Management (MM).
• Proven experience in translating business requirements into SAP solutions and delivering business process improvements.
• Good communication and people skills, with experience dealing with users from various nationalities.
• Master's Degree in Logistic Engineering or related field.
• Driver license.
• Experience working with international and remote teams providing operational support and delivering projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (SOLMAN) / SAP ALM, particularly for test management.
• Preference given for SAP and APICS certifications.
