Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SAP Commerce Engineer role based in Rajasthan, India. The SAP Commerce Engineer will design, develop, and maintain SAP Commerce (Hybris) solutions, including custom extensions, integrations, and performance optimizations for large-scale e-commerce platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, configuring storefronts and back-office modules, managing product catalogs and promotions, and ensuring secure, high-quality code aligned with Sarvika’s ISO-certified practices. The role also involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting production issues, conducting code reviews, and participating in continuous improvement of architecture, deployment pipelines, and development processes.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in SAP Commerce (Hybris) development, including extensions, storefront customization, and back-office configuration.
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring framework, with solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, integrations with third-party systems (payment gateways, ERP, CRM), and microservices-based architectures.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and basic understanding of data modeling and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks beneficial for SAP Commerce storefronts.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional, agile teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant SAP Commerce certifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or enterprise-scale digital platforms is highly desirable.
