Email: [email protected] Job Title: BW Security Expert - Senior Engineer Department: D&IT Data BAU Basis & Admin Reports To: Assistant Team Lead Employment Type: Full-time --- Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled BW Security Expert to handle all security aspects of SAP BW systems. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the security framework within our SAP BW environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance by designing, implementing, and managing user access and authorizations. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP BW security concepts, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate security requirements into practical solutions --- Key Responsibilities: SAP BW Security: ? Maintain and administer the SAP BW security framework, including roles, authorizations, and user profiles. ? Analyze security requirements for new projects and enhancements, proposing secure and efficient solutions in alignment with our security guidelines. ? Design and implement BW security concepts, ensuring appropriate access controls based on user roles and responsibilities. ? Create and manage BW working folders and user groups according to organizational policies. ? Troubleshoot and resolve user access issues and security-related incidents. ? Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to understand security implications of new developments. ? Document the BW security framework, processes, and guidelines. ? Perform regular security reviews and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance. ? Stay up-to-date with SAP security best practices and recommend security enhancements. ? Participate in security-related projects and initiatives. ? Provide guidance and training to users on BW security policies and procedures. ? Mentoring junior engineers --- Required Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. ? 6+ years of experience in SAP BW ? Deep understanding of security, access controls, and backup/recovery practices. ? Experience with SAP security modules (e.g., SAP GRC), Implementation of GRC Access Controls ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on security best practices. ? Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations and compliance standards. ? SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Security administration, SAP GRC Access Control). --- Preferred Qualifications: ? Experience with SAP BW on HANA, SAP S/4HANA, or BW/4HANA. ? Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, or PowerShell scripting. ? Understanding of ITIL service management practices.
