The opportunity

The selected candidate will:

• Leads the delivery of solution or infrastructure development services for a small to medium sized project, using strong technical capabilities
• Designs, develops and oversees the maintenance of solutions or infrastructure deliverables, driving team compliance with the relevant standards
• Fully understands user requirements and translates requirements into design specifications, reviewing the work of others for technical details
  
  

Your Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end understanding of development processes.
• programming skills, with expertise in languages like Python with a good knowledge of ML, Data and API libraries.
• Work on POC’s to take appropriate design decisions.
• Guide team development efforts towards successful product delivery.
• Knowledge in the following areas is beneficial: BTP, Cloud Foundry, SAP Gateway, CAP (Cloud Application Programming)
• Good communication skills
• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain applications built on SAP technologies.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
  
  

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Deep understanding of BTP architecture and BTP services.
• Awareness of SAP platforms SAP AI Core, SAP Data Intelligence, Embedded Analytics in S/4HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud
• Experienced in leading the teams and capable to drive initiatives
• Experience of building applications in SAP BTP Platform (BTP-Cloud Application Programming)
• Java/NodeJS development experience, working on building cloud native applications and building integrations with on-premises systems
• Good understanding for cloud Identity and Access Management with open standards like SAML, SCIM, OAuth and OpenID Connect
• Tools experience in SAP BAS and SAP BTP Cockpit.
• Strong experience with SAPUI5 and/or HTML5 or other Front-end Web Application development frameworks like Web IDE or Business application studio.
• Experience on Github, CI/ CD best practices.
• Practice of modern software engineering including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and releasing
• Familiarized with usage of agile methods like test-driven development, continuous integration & delivery
• Conceptual analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Training models and tuning their hyperparameters
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines; effective communication with senior management, clients, peers, and team members.
  
  

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA with an aggregate score of 70% or above from IIT/NIT/any tier 1 Institute preferred
• 8+ years’ experience in Core design and Development (2-3 years’ experience in cloud technologies)
• Experience in Cloud application development with AWS/Azure/GCP..etc
• Good knowledge on BTP.
• Good knowledge on Cloud Foundry.
• Experience in developing applications with microservices architecture.
  
  

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong analytical capabilities and logical skills, Solution designing experience is a must.
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Good understanding of agile methodology and scrum processes.
