Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant (6–7 Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 6–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in RICEF development, modern ABAP programming, SAP integration technologies, and data migration. The candidate should be capable of delivering high-quality technical solutions while collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP developments in ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Develop and enhance RICEF objects:
• Reports
• Interfaces (File, Proxy, BAPI, IDoc, OData)
• Conversions
• Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework)
• Adobe Forms/Smart Forms
• Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, and RAP applications.
• Build and consume OData services for SAP Fiori applications.
• Develop inbound and outbound interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, Proxies, and file-based integrations.
• Perform data migration using standard SAP migration tools such as LTMC, Migration Cockpit, BAPIs, and LSMW (where applicable).
• Analyze technical requirements and prepare technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants during requirement gathering, testing, deployment, and go-live support.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 6–7 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong expertise in:
• RICEF Objects
• Reports
• Interfaces (File, Proxy, BAPI, IDoc, OData)
• Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework)
• Adobe Forms
• CDS Views
• AMDP
• RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Data Migration (LTMC, Migration Cockpit, BAPI, LSMW)
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Experience in performance tuning using SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis, and Code Inspector.
• Experience working with SAP Fiori and OData services is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA architecture and ABAP on HANA.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• SAP certification in ABAP or S/4HANA is an added advantage.
