Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Senior SAP ABAP | HANA Consultant or Lead Consultant with 5 to 12+ years of experience. The consultant will be responsible for creating and optimizing SAP ABAP programs, developing SAP HANA solutions, building and customizing ALV reports, integrating user exits, and managing BAPI and IDoc implementations. Additionally, the candidate will design object-oriented programming solutions to address complex business needs. The role is based in Noida with some flexibility for remote work.

About Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and Support ABAP Custom Programs
• Work on Custom Code remediation for Upgrade projects involving Unicode, HANA, S/4HANA
• Code reviews, Quality Assurance

Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of total IT industry experience
• Candidate will be working independently and should have a good ABAP skill set including experience in OOPS ABAP. 
• Should know about transport management and system landscape.
• Experience in developing OOPS ABAP Programs, Function Groups, Classes, Data Dictionary
• Experience in writing Coding with the latest SAP ABAP Syntax and SAP Best practices
• Experience in using Code Inspector / Extended program check / ATC
• Experience in custom code management in upgrades / EHP including SPAU/SPDD
• Possess thorough knowledge in Transports, Testing, working in development and project environments, and development life cycle management.
• Must possess very good written and verbal communication skills; should be able to influence client stakeholders.

SAP ABAP Lead 10+ years exp

Experience 

● 10+ years of total IT experience 

● Minimum 8+ years in SAP ABAP development

● Hands-on experience in S/4HANA projects 

Key Responsibilities 

● Lead and manage ABAP development activities across projects 

● Design and develop complex ABAP programs and enhancements 

● Handle S/4HANA upgrade and migration activities (SPAU/SPDD, code remediation) ● Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices 

● Work closely with functional teams and client stakeholders 

● Manage transport requests and system landscape (Dev, QA, Prod) ● Support production issues and provide technical solutions 

● Mentor junior developers and guide the team

Required Technical Skills 

● Strong expertise in SAP ABAP (RICEFW objects) 

● Hands-on experience in OOABAP (Classes, Interfaces) ● Experience in S/4HANA, HANA, and code remediation 

● Good understanSPAU/SPDD during upgrades

● Knowledge of Transport Management System (TMS) 

● Experience with CDS Views, OData (preferred) 

● Familiarity with Code Inspector / ATC / SAP best practices
