Job Title: Senior Sales Force Architect & Platform Administrator (Consumer Products Industry)

Scope: Global

Location: TMICC Pune, India

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Sales Force Architect & Platform Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of Salesforce platforms across TMICC. This role is accountable for end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture, platform governance, and technical excellence, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing CRM solutions aligned with TMICC’s global business strategy.

The role blends architectural leadership, hands-on technical delivery, and stakeholder collaboration to enable innovation, standardization, and long-term platform sustainability.

Scope of the Role

  • Develop comprehensive Sales Force architecture blueprints and solution design artifacts for technology engagements in collaboration with TMICC SI partners and product owners.
  • Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges, architect high-impact projects, and ensure robust design and review processes while maintaining hands-on technical expertise.
  • Recommend Salesforce.com-based solutions, integration strategies, and implementation architectures to enhance business efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Define and enforce technical best practices for Salesforce implementation, ensuring alignment with the client’s enterprise architecture and future scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews to guarantee adherence to best practices and maintain high-quality standards across teams and projects.
  • Identify potential application performance bottlenecks early in the implementation phase and propose effective remediation strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of reusable assets for future projects and support gap analysis and Salesforce roadmap development.
  • Mentor developers through code reviews, solution design guidance, and tailored training and development plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external process owners/SMEs to analyze Salesforce opportunities and recommend CRM, TPM, eB2B, and SFA solutions.
  • Perform detailed analysis, documentation, and understanding of business processes where required.
  • Execute Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives using the latest Salesforce offerings to validate technology feasibility.
  • Drive standardization, technology alignment, and reporting processes for enterprise-level CRM implementations.
  • Provide support to TMICC operational teams during UAT and rollout phases to ensure successful deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

  • Oversee SAP security operations including user/role/FFID/OSS management and automation.
  • Lead governance meetings and ensure systems meet UL technical standards.
  • Manage vendor partners to ensure SLA/KPI compliance and drive simplification.
  • Define and monitor operational KPIs and exit criteria for security processes.

Data Architecture

  • Defining data models, relationships, and governance.
  • Managing data migration strategies and data quality.
  • Implementing security models (role hierarchy, sharing rules).

Integration Strategy

  • Designing APIs and middleware for seamless integration.
  • Using tools like BTP/MQTT, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven architecture.
  • Ensuring real-time and batch data synchronization.

Security & Compliance

  • Implementing authentication and authorization (SSO, OAuth).
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulations.
  • Managing encryption and secure data storage.

Performance & Scalability

  • Optimizing Salesforce org performance.
  • Designing for high-volume transactions and large datasets.
  • Planning for future scalability and multi-org strategies.

Governance & Best Practices

  • Establishing development TMICC standards and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Managing technical debt and release management.
  • Providing architectural guidance to developers and admins.

Innovation & Roadmap

  • Staying updated with Salesforce releases and new features.
  • Advising on AI/Einstein, automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Aligning Salesforce roadmap with business strategy.

Project Leadership

  • Mentor developers and administrators through reviews and coaching.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to analyze business processes.
  • Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives using latest Salesforce offerings.

Essential

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Salesforce Design and Implementation; 5+ years in architecture roles and should have managed 2 end to end Sales Force lifecycle projects & Platforms maintenance.
  • Should have in-depth experience in Salesforce (SFDC) CRM and its end-to-end implementation process.
  • Experience in designing and developing software components and a strong service-oriented architecture and integration background.
  • Experience in deploying applications on App Exchange
  • Should have experience integrating third-party applications with Salesforce using Rest or SOAP API's.
  • Strong knowledge of consuming APIs (SOAP, REST). Salesforce.com integration experience, including between different business systems and working with integration tools.
  • Proficiency in programming using Salesforce SFDC, Force.com, JavaScript, and XML and their use in developing CRM, TPM, SFA, eb2b solutions.
  • Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and implementing new instances of Salesforce.com from scratch.
  • Strong practical deployment knowledge of Salesforce Lightning UI, Visual Force, Flex, configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, AppExchange deployment, and Salesforce.com s-controls.
  • Ability to define the system landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end states, and deliver a CRM solution.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills and prioritize and deliver the most important things first.
  • Experience with SFDX, Git source control, and CICD is a plus.
  • Salesforce Architect - CERTIFICATIONS | MUST HAVE
  • Expert in working with cloud-based platforms like Azure, Databricks.
  • Excellent communication, active listening and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.

  • Experience with Azure, Databricks, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Knowledge of SQL and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in consumer products or FMCG environments.
