Job Title: Salesforce Developer Location: Gurugram, India Contract Duration: 6 months (Extendable) Experience Required: 5?7 years Employment Type: Contract Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team on a 6-month extendable contract . The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing Salesforce applications to support key business processes. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC) , and integration with external systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and SOQL. Configure and customize Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud , and other modules as needed. Develop and maintain triggers, workflows, process builders, and validation rules . Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, REST, and middleware tools . Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Maintain documentation of technical design, configurations, and development changes. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and coding standards. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5?7 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and customization. Strong expertise in Apex Classes, Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and LWC . Experience working with Salesforce APIs and integration tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.). Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and declarative automation (Flows, Process Builder). Experience with Salesforce deployments using Change Sets, ANT, or SFDX . Understanding of Salesforce security model , governor limits , and data model design . Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies . Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: Salesforce Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II certification. Experience with Salesforce CPQ , Service Cloud , or Experience Cloud . Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket). Exposure to Lightning Experience migration projects . Basic understanding of JavaScript frameworks for LWC. Soft Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality delivery. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
