Position Name: Salesforce Architect ? Data Cloud & Agentforce About CloudFulcrum: CloudFulcrum is an innovative Salesforce DevOps transformation company, dedicated to providing top-notch Salesforce solutions and services. We specialize in creating custom solutions and enhancing internal CRM applications to ensure the highest level of efficiency and client satisfaction. Role Purpose Own the design and implementation of data-centric and AI-enabled solutions on the Salesforce platform, with a primary focus on Salesforce Data Cloud plus one or more Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, etc.). This is a senior individual contributor / architect-track role: deep hands-on, with enough breadth to guide design and review work from others. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design (Platform + Data Cloud) Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions where Data Cloud acts as the unified data layer for customers, products, and interactions. Define high-level architecture: objects, Data Cloud model, integrations, and activation patterns back into core Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.). Data Cloud Implementation Configure data streams and Data Model Objects (DMOs) from Salesforce and external sources. Set up identity resolution, unification, and basic calculated insights. Build segments and activations to create/update records (Leads, Contacts, Cases, Tasks, Campaign Members, etc.) in the relevant clouds. Core Salesforce Engineering Implement and review configuration and automation: Flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types. Use Apex where needed for complex or cross-cloud logic. Design robust data models and automation that work at scale and within governor limits. AI / Agentforce Enablement Collaborate on use cases where Agentforce / Einstein 1 / Prompt Builder or other AI capabilities consume Data Cloud as context. Help define how agents or automations should use trusted Salesforce data?without owning ?all AI? for the organization. Integration Awareness Work with integration specialists (e.g., MuleSoft / other iPaaS / ETL teams) to define clean Salesforce-side contracts and mappings. Ensure designs are integration-friendly and clearly document what data originates in Salesforce vs external systems (ERP, data lakes, marketing tools, etc.). Quality & Governance Promote best practices for data quality, security, performance, and maintainability. Perform design and code reviews for Salesforce and Data Cloud changes. Core Skills & Experience Must-Have 7+ years overall Salesforce Development experience , including senior engineer or solution-lead responsibilities. Strong experience with at least one major Salesforce cloud (e.g., Sales, Service, Experience, or Marketing Cloud) and solid understanding of how others fit in. Practical experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including: Setting up data streams & DMOs Configuring identity resolution & unification Building segments and activating data back into Salesforce Ability to work with architects, product owners, and business SMEs to turn requirements into implementable designs. Nice-to-Have Experience with Agentforce / Einstein 1 / Prompt Builder Exposure to integration platforms such as MuleSoft, or consuming REST/streaming APIs from ERPs, data platforms, or marketing tools. Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Data Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I/II).
