Sales/Business Development Executive

The Business Development Personnel will be responsible for securing business opportunities in aircraft and engine material sales. The role involves building strong relationships with airlines, lessors, OEMs, and MROs, while driving revenue growth and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
• Develop customer relationships that demonstrate an understanding of their business needs and requirements
• Develop strong rapport with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and enhance the company’s ability to better anticipate customer needs.
• Negotiate price and delivery, calculate margins and quote clients accordingly Assist with order processing, expediting, and status updates.
• Proactively plan activities to ensure sales and gross margins are achieved or exceeded each quarter
• Will have to learn industry-regulated certification and traceability requirements.
• Recognise and communicate industry trends and news.
• Uphold company policies, procedures and core values
• Work with the sales leadership team to ensure market share is maintained and appropriate pricing is documented within the business software
• Proactively and continuously manage both client and internal expectations through sales processes

 Job Requirements

• Willingness to work on‑site in Chennai
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships through lengthy sales processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data and develop creative solutions which meet company and client requirements
• Ability to work well within a small entrepreneurial company, as well as take initiative and work independently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and salesforce
• Must be able to multitask and a highly motivated self-starter
• Must be organised, effective and demonstrate excellent time management
• Travel as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline
• Aviation industry experience is an added advantage
