Job Title: District Sales Manager

Department: Sales & Marketing


The District Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing dealer networks, and ensuring revenue achievement within the assigned district. The role includes handling key accounts, dealer development, and execution of business campaigns in alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure 100% achievement of monthly and annual sales targets (value and quantity).
  • Drive growth through effective sales planning and market execution.
  • Appoint new dealers and strengthen the existing network.
  • Revive inactive (“sleeping”) dealers and improve their contribution.
  • Ensure POP (Point of Purchase) material utilisation and brand visibility at dealer counters.
  • Manage Fleet Operators, Corporate Accounts, Car Dealerships, and Garages.
  • Build relationships with institutional clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support product launches (new size/patterns) by collecting dealer and customer feedback.
  • Develop new channels and expand business reach in the district.
  • Conduct regular reviews with colleagues and subordinates to ensure alignment with targets.
  • Provide structured MIS and market intelligence reports to management.
  • Maintain effective communication with supervisors and cross-functional teams.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


  • Achievement of sales (quantity and value) targets.
  • Dealer revival and new dealer appointments.
  • Revenue vs. budget performance.
  • Growth in fleet and corporate accounts.
  • Effective utilisation of POP and campaign execution.
  • Supervisor and subordinate review outcomes.


Key Requirements

  • Graduate/MBA preferred. Experience:
  • 4–5 years of relevant sales experience (Tyres/Auto Components/Automotive/FMCG).
  • Strong dealer management and account handling experience.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to achieve targets under pressure.
  • Team collaboration and leadership abilities.
  • Market intelligence and analytical skills.
