Role Description The Sales Manager role at The Insurance Bar is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Sales Manager will oversee the sales team, set performance targets, and ensure consistent achievement of revenue and client acquisition goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, building and maintaining relationships with partners and clients, and presenting the company’s services in a clear and compelling manner. The role involves monitoring sales metrics, preparing reports, and collaborating with leadership to refine sales strategies and improve conversion rates. The Sales Manager ensure all sales activities align with the company’s ethical and client-focused values.

Qualifications

  • Has experience of working in Agency Vertical in Insurance Companies
  • Strong sales management skills, including team leadership, target setting, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience in business development, client relationship management, and negotiation within services or financial sectors.
  • Solid understanding of insurance products, claims processes, or grievance redressal (prior insurance or financial services experience is highly preferred).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and use CRM or similar tools to manage pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, collaborate across teams, and maintain high ethical standards.
  • Fluency in English and local languages used in Ahmedabad; strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
